FreeInternet-Bypass v8.4.4
Important Storage Recovery & Tensor Accounts Update
FI 8.4.4 is a small update, but it is an important one.
A lot of users reported the new
FI data-protection warning after updating from 8.4.0, and some users could only get FI working again after doing a Full Reset.
This update fixes the actual cause, improves the recovery experience, and also adds a proper way to export and import your saved Tensor accounts.
FI DATA PROTECTION ERROR FIXED
The reported error was:
Codice:
FI DATA PROTECTION: IndexedDB could not be trusted (Expected about 84–86 durable keys for this origin; hydrated 0). FI entered read-only safety quarantine. Durable writes are blocked to preserve recoverable data.
This was not only a visual warning.
On FI Community / Syncore, FI could remember that the origin previously had around 84–86 keys while its local IndexedDB loaded zero. FI then entered protection mode before it could load the healthy shared FI manager copy. The protection itself prevented that copy from repairing the page.
Tensor and Syncore also use separate browser origins, so resetting Tensor could fix Tensor while the same warning stayed active on Syncore.
8.4.4 now understands which origin owns the data:
- Tensor remains a protected primary profile.
- FI Community and FI Tools are treated as rebuildable shared replicas.
- A valid shared manager copy can rebuild the empty replica before quarantine blocks it.
- Every restored value is read back and verified before normal writes resume.
- Unsupported partial data loss still stays protected instead of being overwritten blindly.
The exact 86-keys-to-0 case was reproduced and tested in real Chromium.
NEW FI STORAGE RECOVERY CONSOLE
The old wall of recovery buttons has been replaced with a much clearer recovery console.
The main actions are now:
- Analyze & repair
- Export recovery copy
- Reload FI
The console analyzes the current origin in real time and shows the exact phase, source, warning code, durable key count, expected count, safety-vault state and manager state.
Advanced tools are still available, but they are kept inside one expandable section instead of filling the whole window.
You can dismiss a warning for the current page, or choose the permanent risky ignore option for that origin.
Ignoring protection can allow FI to continue with incomplete or mixed data, so FI clearly warns before enabling it. The recovery shield always remains available in the floating window even when warning dialogs are hidden.
STORAGE SETTINGS ARE NOW ORGANIZED
Storage-related options now have their own
Storage category in Settings.
This includes the active backend, automatic verified repair, warning policy, storage analysis and automatic cleanup controls.
The unrelated
Save Crosee network option was moved to
Other, where it belongs.
FULL RESET IS NOW MUCH MORE POWERFUL
The Full Reset window is larger, stays above FI floating windows and now includes separate tabs for:
- Reset plan
- Snapshot export
- Snapshot import
You can also combine multiple keep profiles instead of being forced to choose only one.
For example, you can reset everything while keeping:
- Accounts & FI tokens
- Settings & UI setup
- Installed FI extensions
- CI workspace & libraries
- Specific exact storage keys
FI captures the selected data before deletion and restores it through the verified storage path. If required account data cannot be read safely, the reset is blocked before deletion instead of silently losing it.
NEW TENSOR ACCOUNT EXPORT & IMPORT
The FI Accounts tab now has two new actions:
- Export Tensor Accounts
- Import Tensor Accounts
When exporting, FI shows two clear choices.
Metadata export only
This is mainly for diagnostics and rare support cases. It contains account names, IDs, cached profile information, aliases, notes and token-expiry status.
It does not contain the Tensor tokens and cannot be used to restore or access the accounts.
Full Export
This creates a restorable JSON file containing the complete saved Tensor JWT tokens together with the account and profile information.
IMPORTANT SECURITY WARNING:
Anyone who gets this Full Export file can access the included Tensor accounts until those tokens expire. Keep it private, do not upload it, do not post it, and do not send it to anyone you do not completely trust.
The file does not contain browser cookies, your FI Community login, tasks or generated Items.
Import is not a blind overwrite.
Before FI changes anything, it shows a complete account-by-account log:
- Accounts that will be added
- Expired tokens that will be refreshed
- Changed account/profile information that will be merged
- Healthy local tokens that will be kept
- Invalid or mismatched records that will be skipped
If the same Tensor account ID already exists with an expired token, but the imported file has a valid newer token, FI refreshes that account and migrates its cached data to the new token.
If the local token is already healthier or expires later, FI keeps the local token and does not downgrade it.
Every JWT account ID is validated before import, and FI verifies the account storage after writing it.
DATA CONTROL & UI FIXES
The Data Control action buttons no longer sit underneath the docked account footer.
Dialogs, reset tools and important recovery surfaces now use FI's top UI layer, so floating windows cannot cover them.
WHAT CHANGED SINCE 8.4.0
8.4.0 was the large foundation update that introduced the new storage protection, FI Accounts improvements, Credits, Prompts work and many UI changes.
8.4.4 keeps that foundation and fixes the problems reported after release:
- Fixed the stuck IndexedDB 84–86 expected / 0 hydrated protection loop.
- Added real automatic recovery for verified Syncore shared replicas.
- Added the live Storage Recovery Console.
- Added dismiss and persistent warning-policy controls while keeping recovery available.
- Reorganized Storage and Other settings.
- Rebuilt Full Reset with combined keep profiles and snapshot tabs.
- Fixed reset/dialog layering and Data Control footer overlap.
- Added advanced CI storage health, repair, comparison and verification tools.
- Added secure Tensor account export/import with safe token-refresh merging.
This update is especially recommended if you saw the red FI DATA PROTECTION warning, had to Full Reset to make FI work, use several Tensor accounts, or want a private account backup before changing browsers/profiles.
Updating to FreeInternet-Bypass 8.4.4 is strongly recommended.
